How might the current coronavirus global pandemic affect delivery times?

That depends.

The Be With web shop is open and orders are being packed and shipped as normal. All of our pre-orders are still on schedule and we will ship them as soon as we can. We’ll let you know if anything changes.

UK orders are being delivered as usual.

However, for any orders shipping outside the UK we are not able to keep up-to-date with what is happening with any customs restrictions or with the local postal systems around the world.

International postal delivery times are even more unpredictable than usual and whilst some orders are arriving in the usual amount of time, some are taking much longer. Some parcels are taking more like 4 to 8 weeks to be delivered and there are also a rare few that are taking 12 weeks or longer.

If you would like us to ship your records using a courier service then email webshop@bewithrecords.com before you order so that we can get an exact quote for you. Courier services seem to be operating as normal to all countries. For some of you the extra cost is worth it for the speed and peace of mind.

Where do orders ship from?

We ship all of our orders from Be With HQ here in Manchester in the UK.

How are orders shipped?

If your order weighs less than 2kg it will be shipped by Royal Mail here in the UK. If you are outside the UK Royal Mail will hand your parcel over to your local postal service for the final delivery.

If your order weighs more than 2kg we will ship your order using a courier service of our choice. We usually use UPS, but we also use FedEx, DHL and DPD.

We can normally do this at no extra cost to you, but the high courier fees to some countries can sometimes make this impossible. In those rare situations we will get in touch with you to work out a solution.

Customers in the UK can choose to pay extra to have their order shipped by courier, just choose the option at the checkout.

If you are outside the UK and want us to use a courier service to ship your order then email webshop@bewithrecords.com before you order and we will get an exact quote for you.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs will vary depending on where in the world you are and which shipping method you choose.

We charge a flat shipping price for each order, which means you pay the same for shipping no matter how many records you order or how much they weigh.

Customers in the UK will be offered standard shipping for free if they spend £60 or more.

If you are ordering just 7"s or CDs we will charge you a reduced “small order” rate. This rate applies to orders of up to five 7"s or two CDs. If you order more than this, or your order also includes larger records or anything else then you will be charged our regular shipping rates.

UK customers will be given the option to ship their order with a courier service at the check out. If you are outside the UK and want your order to be shipped by courier then email webshop@bewithrecords.com before you order and we will get an exact quote for you.

Please note that customers in Brazil will only be offered tracked shipping. This is because we have had recent problems with packages going missing. The tracked services give us and our customers a better guarantee that orders will be delivered.

How long will it take for your order to arrive?

Delivery times will vary depending on where in the world you are. Orders are usually posted out within 3 business days of us receiving them. Please allow extra time around Christmas and UK public holidays. We will post a notice on the website if there is going to be any major delays in shipping orders.

All customers will get a shipping confirmation email as soon as we have shipped your order.

If you regularly buy records from web shops then you will probably have a better idea than us about how long it usually takes records to reach you from the UK. As a rough guide though, once we’ve handed a package over to Royal Mail, we expect it to take :

Will I get a tracking number for my order?

If you have paid for your order to be sent using a tracked service or a courier service then yes, you will get a tracking code. This will be in your shipping confirmation email.

If choose standard shipping then we will not have any tracking information for your parcel.

Do pre-orders ship separately from anything else in your order?

We ship everything in your order together in one parcel as soon as everything is available. This means that if your order includes pre-orders for a record together with records that are already released we will wait until the pre-orders are ready before we ship your whole order.

If you don’t want to wait you’ll need to order your pre-orders separately.
